No s**t. I need help on this one.
I was driving one day, and it just broke off. (one of the plastic clips broke, and it slid off) Anyway i bought a new one from Jarvis Ford for $3.80 (Wreckers wanted $20+ for a USED ONE... wtf...) But i DONT know how to put it on. I need the two clips on the back of the plastic pedal to clip onto the accelerator metal rod (but theres no way it seems easy, as they seem like they'll break off... coz i have to bend the pedal) Can someone please help. Thanks... |

remove accelerator cable at the throttle body, 2 nuts hold the acc pedal tp the firewall remove them, and the accelarator pedal can be removed to make fitting easier, dont know how but removed would be a simpler job I am sure.

If you remove your peddle assembly from your car (as delboy999 suggests), i would then take your old peddle assembly to the spare parts place along with the new peddle you bought from them and ask them how to fit it. I am sure they would be more than helpfull (maybe even fit it for you).
Only problem may be getting to the dealers if you don't have access to another car Cheers. |

well we have people locking themselves in the boot to find water leaks, maybe he could get a friend to drive while he sits in the bonnet manually opening the throttle....

I spent Sunday arvo in my boot for that exact reason. Water leak resolved!
