Well after some serious cans err umm thought.... i have decided to attempt the dash needle mod.

Tell me your thoughts:

remove old needles and replace with 3" cold cathode (of colour choice) in someway of mounting to motor so therefore having a either multicoloured or very illuminated needles.

only problem i can think of is that the fuel/temp/oil and battery will be the normal needles as i don't think there are CC's made that small.

any tips, advice or pointers would be appreciated before i attempt this mod.

sounds like a lot of effort for little benifit. 10 points for imgination tho. Why not just paint the white part of the factory needles in your desired colour? Should look good as your running white LEDs

nah tried that with some needles and no matter how i did it, it never was right.

so this is the best option

wouldnt the weight be off therefore the gauges be innacurate?
