If anyone has a popped black airbag to sell or give me :) , drop me a PM thanks.

Just get some black vinyl dye! It'll cost you about $14 from supercheap and works perfectly. Check out mine in my gallery - it's just the standard grey one sprayed black (as is the rest of my interior)

Shifter looks good but is out of place with the rest of the dated dash. Onwards with the rest of the BA dash conversion :)

um... isnt like, seeing the airbag in your car, like a bag thing....?

i know i would prefer to keep it tucked away and out of sight - ie not use it.

like seriously, why colour the airbag?

like the shifter too btw :)

Jase is the BA/BF king! (I still want lights like yours mate!)

I've got an install doco for the physical fitting of the BA shifter to an E-Series car, for those interested. But beware, if you request this from me, I have a 56k connection and the doco is ~50 pages/~6mb in size.

Also I'm not on FordMods much.

Nice mods there... shifter looks great.

A bit off topic, but I am curious where you got those floor mats from?

Cheers

Is the BF shifter a straight swap over to the BA shifter assembly? What is involved, the leather boot looks nice.

Plus how much did the BF shifter handle set you back.

Nice work but I think you should fill in the space around the head unit and also the space in the recess where you have mounted the aftermarket gauge. Thats the same spot I want to put my boost gauge, is it visable enough when driving?

The car mats came from K-Mart and they were not that cheap either, but they said Ford on them so had to have them.

The BF shifter bolted straight into where the BA shifter was, the electronics need a small new electronic signal convertor, but no big deal.

The BF shifter cost me nothing, no idea on Ford or wrecker prices.

Dash is due for a make over of some kind not to sure what yet.

The guage is very nicely visible for the driver, its at an ever so slight angle as well. (Mine is for oil pressure)

To me, the shifter looks great, i just dont think the EA dash is in place now with the shifter and the wheel...

Since your thinkning of upgrading the dash, i suggest upgrading it to an EF/L one, would look way better IMO
