Its not all that hard to do really, takes a bit of effort.

You need to make a bracket for the cable to gearbox to mount, and then cut a small bit of trans tunnel out, wire up some electronics and more then likely make a small bit of custom console like I have done.

Would the BF shifter be a straight swap with the BA? I have a BA and wouldn't mind the nicer assembly.

That means electonic wise it shouldn't be any different BA - BF wise, correct me if I am wrong.

The BF bolts in place of the BA and on my car required no cable adjustment at all.

The electronics are a different output (thanks ford) but I am getting a small electronics interpretor box made up to allow plug ang play stay tune 8-)
