I used to have a BA shifter in my car, have upgraded to the BF shifter as I liked the look of it better.

Has cost me nothing, and the full SSS works as well.

Yes it can be fitted to any 4 speed auto electronically controlled Ford.

Ohhh that looks a f**k better!
I'd always liked your BA shifter, but it seemed a bit out of place.
That is much nicer.

That looks really nice. The BA shifter was awesome but didnt look as 'at home' as the BF shifter does. It really has a factory look to it.

Brilliant!

mmm. i take it the electronic mods are needed for the SSS to work? as we all know low there is still quite a lag when changing gears manually in an auto.

got you a doco for this dellboy? this might have to suffice as a manual conversion is out of my reach

Just get some black vinyl dye! It'll cost you about $14 from supercheap and works perfectly. Check out mine in my gallery - it's just the standard grey one sprayed black (as is the rest of my interior)

Shifter looks good but is out of place with the rest of the dated dash. Onwards with the rest of the BA dash conversion :)

yes you need electronics with a shift kit the lag is not bad, if you can get the parts cheap enough then this mod will be cheaper then a manual conversion, the electronics are about $200 though.

But damn its fun, makes a huge difference to the car, selecting 1st out of a corner instead of the lazy 2nd the gearbox wants.

Is it really even an issue?
I mean, it's the exact same system as a BA really.
Can't see it having much worse lag then the BA shifter.
I might have to give this mod a crack when I get a new box...

Yes the rest of the interior needs a good clean and freshen up.

It looks much better in person when you see the whole interior the steering wheel with grey airbag is not that out of place.
