Tomorrow i am buying a EF fairmont ghia, the thing is it has rolled a couple times lol. Got it for cheap, interior is perfect. Full leather interior going in the XR6 soon, trip computer, climate control, full power windows, but i have heard that it is a bit of a task, can anyone tell me how hard it is? The car also has the tickford motor and it runs perfect doesnt miss a beat, hoping the trans is fine to. I will get some photos of it tomorrow, and soon i will ya's all know what parts i want to sell

Good pickup mate. You've got a bit of work in front of you with the windows, climate and full interior conversion but you have everything you'll need.

Best thing to do would be to swap over all interior looms etc rather than butchering your own wiring to add stuff in. Will be much neater this way.

I'm doing something similar soon too, and when I do it, I'm just going to get both cars side by side in a big shed, get some mates and go nuts for a weekend.

You may want to check, but I think you'll have to modify some of the climate wiring to go in the EL from the EF.

dude, good score!

the power window conversion is a piece of piss!

take you less than a day to do both!!! take your door off so you can lie it flat on the ground...it makes it a hell of a lot easier!!

I will be keen to sell most of the stuff, besides the leather at this stage. I might sell the door trims yet to.

I am interested in the door trims. I am also half way through fitting power windows to my car and will possibly be changing the dash.

Yeah thats why I might be keen on selling the door trims, as its goin to be hassle and a bit of money to get the rear power windows
