Hey guys, i have decided to get some neons installed in my el futura. I was just wondering if i could get some advice on the best way to go about this
Has anyone got pics of how they did theirs? I want it all to be clean, and somehow get them to turn on when the interior lights go on (when opening the door ect.) anyone got any advice At the moment im thinking one in each footwell, and maybe one in the dash around the cd player and a big one in the boot at a later date. All blue at this stage thanks in advance |

Check the tech doco section, there's an article on installing footwell illumination.
http://www.fordmods.com/forums/Quick-Mo ... s-d24.html Definitely go with neons over LEDs. I've put blue neons in my footwells (see some of my other posts) and the soft blue glow looks excellent at night time. |

This is a mod i am currently doing also. I have mounted 2, with 4 remaining.
The only reason i mention is because i have used LED strips and they light up really well, ESPECIALLY considering i have black carpet. The two that are currently in are mounted under the front edge of the dash pointing down. Unfortunately though photos do not do it justice, but i am very happy with them anyway. |

Basically just make sure you have ones that are for like 12v (ones that plug into ciggarette lighter are fine) they should already be fused so just cut off the ciggy plug and tap the wires into the existing footwell light illumnation. Done, looks great and takes f**k all time. Stick them under the footwell with double sided and bobs your aunty
