haha anyways, i was thinking..
what is the point of putting noens onto door sensors? that would be f**k annoying, everytime you open the door, just neons flash on for like to seconds? why just put the things on a switch? |

its the whole point of having custom lighting...
ok i have done this before... get your positive wire from behind stereo or battery whatever you like aslong as its constant... that goes on your neon positive (will only work one way) now on the negative side of it, run it to the wire that runs to the back of the switch (the way the switch works is the door poshed the metal bar on the back of the clip away from the metal, when you open the door the button pops out pressing the metal to the body on the inside of the door) once the door opens then wire will earth itself to the body and the light will come on.

Sorry.. yeh it will work fine either way. just make sure you fuse it, you wouldn't want a cut in the wire to short out, it'll look like a burnout!

some cars it will work, some it won't.
it depends on how it's switched. if the door is closed, it might open circuit a relay and therefore switch the light off. or it might ground a relay and turn it off. there are lots of different ways it's done, and all achieve the same thing.
