All you need now is the woodgrain and chrome for the gear selector surround, Looks top notch! Nicely done.

Mind if I ask where you got the woodgrain dash insert from?? Is it one of the adhesive ones from Burg's/Dashboard centre, or did you get your existing one covered??

Looks great BTW.

I've got one, but i don't like the leather look ones, honestly i'd prefer to have a velour one as its much more comfortable on the arm :)

I was going to get a woodgrain shifter surround, but the woodgrain is a different type since it was only available in the EL's and not EF's.
happy to keep my current black one :)
also not that worried about chrome buttons etc, with the dash painted black i like the black buttons.
i have a leather handbrake and chrome button sitting there, will see what happens with it :)

cost, pretty much all of my interior has cost me nothing.
80% of the interior stuff was from an EF II fairmont ghia that i purchased from the damaged car auctions, made my money back on it and kept most interior stuff.
the recent few additions were from another wreck i got (NF I Fairlane) so its been nice and cheap :)

Its actually from a NF 1 Fairlane, they're very hard to come by because anything after NF II / EF II had the passenger side airbag standard, so the woodgrain wasnt fitted.

NF 1's arnt exactly a common site around wreckers either :)

Can the armrests be bought seperately?

They were a separate item available from Ford (back in the day). They are NLA and most wreckers won't sep them from door trims.
