Gday

So as some people saw on a previous post, my poor ol girl got flooded a month or so back(f*ck you mother nature).
After a week of trying to dry and de-stink the car, I got some new carpet.

I have finally gotten around to tearing everthing out, seats console stinking carpet etc, and embarking on the great learning adventure of installing some new carpet.

I decided to go with the Charcoal Loop instead of that s**t grey looking stuff, I think it really adds something to the colour scheme.

Let me know what you think.

Not happy with quite a few spots (not my fault).

The carpet is good quality, I got it from over the net (from all car carpets), but it isnt an exact fit to the floor pan.
I know they say it has been moulded from an ef floor pan but it is roughly 5-10mm too big and the passenger side was cut too much by the carpet place.

Other than that I can live with it...it doesnt stink like s**t and it will stretch a little for a better fit.

It was only $160 all up $140 carpet 20 postage.
Few bits are a bit s**t but I can't complain for that price and how badly i needed it.

+2 on that! It looks horn in a darker shade!

Can you see the gap between the two sections?

nah you cant really see where the sections overlap, unless your looking for it, which isn't really that noticeable.

I need to get one of those lint ball shavers though, because the vacs at the car wash give the carpet a bit of peach fuzz..just something that annoys me personally.
