Finally ive got my interior looking how i want it to look like. Its a EF XR6 series 1 and ive aimed to get it look a bit more grey/charcol than the gay blue/pruple greyish colours in the ef.

So far ive done:
- Steering Wheel
- Instrument Panel
- Floor Mats
- Seat Covers
- Shift Kit (button next to power windows)
- Trip Computer
- Illumination on trip computer and odometer (changed to blue)
- JVC MP3 Player

All i need to do is to change the door trim to the EL XR's ones (more greyish colour) so that it will blend in with the rest of the interior (god it looks so out of place!!!)
Im pretty happy how everything has turned out!

Hows the new steering wheel compared to the thinner XR wheel ?

I have swapped from standard EF to the XR leather and at first it bothered me being a bit thinner, but now i like it.

yeah they work now, but i don't like it all that much.

i love the colour but i don't think it blends with your grey interiour enough to be subtle.

Where did u get the seats from?

actually dave i took it in the dark and the flash must have made the colours look contrasting. they actually blend well in life. ill take a pic or two when its sunny (if it gets sunny in melb ;))

I love the steering wheel... it feels like im using a BA Typhoon steering wheel..has about the same thickness. Although unfortunately its not as quick as the typhoon hehe.

Steering Wheel is Autotek Black/Grey from Ebay. Company was Roman Autotek near my house in Tullamarine. Theres a guy on ebay selling that type of wheel but he keeps jacking up his price, i got it for about $180, and hes selling it for about $240.

What u mean paint the little bits on the dash? which bits

Thats where i got mine from! Courier as well.

This is another auction: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/EF-EL-XH-AU-Falc ... dZViewItem

You've done well if you get the wheel (inc postage) under $200

You can get it for $200 with postage if you ask really nicely, thats what I did when i was considering buying it, but other things ate my funds.
