Hey hey every one

Recently i got a 8" LCD TV for the car. Was installing it today and my friend said hey i have a PS we can hook up to it. Raced down to super cheap and grabbed a power inverter.

Soon after i was play MOH in my car.

Also putting the new door locking motors fron jaycar in but i need some dryness.

Retrimming the doors cause its old and shabby.

And the new bumber is going to get a coat of paint when its dry for a day or two.

Couple of questions. Is it going to be hard for me to roof mount the TV screen? (EF GLi)

What colour material should i use for the door trims??? Was thinking black but am unsure...

I got some pictures but have to get the off the phone.

So the car is gettin some loving. LOL

Just got to finish making my carputer i am custom making in applied tech.

What i am wanting to do is get another 2 dinn cd mounts. Put 2 bits of metal between the two and screw the LCD mount to that. That way it will be a little more flexiable. At the moment the bottm corners of it touch the dash and its not very stable.

Ill take some pics of the inverter and get the PS rigged up to it. As for now i may get the door locking motors into the car. hard work damn it.

Keep ya posted...

I got the door locking motors working. Thats all cool.

I have installed the LCD to the car. I am going to try do a Hyena mod to the dash. I have built a siple PIII 950 to get the carputer started.

Started the DOL to RS232 converter. Thats part of the school project.

got the 8" LCD from Shum's EL for 110$. Man unless you are looking for a touch screen.

Cashies have 7" DIN mount for around 100 each.

I went to get a new deck....s**t goes if you dont want to spend 500+ on a deck then u need the cable to input audio. They cost 60$.

Im going to try get a 4 channel amp and a 5.1 channel sound card.

As for DOL to RS232.....DOL is Data Output Line. This is a line from the ECU and provides things such as speed and petrol.

It changes to a RS232 or more comonly a COM port (the green one)
