Hey guys, i a wanting to create a new parcel shelf or like a false shelf for the back. I am going to leave the metal there but i want want to have the speakers a little raised and tilted to the front and also i would like to put a stacker in the middle on the shelf. I want to make it out of fibreglass and thin mdf. Because the carpet will be no longer there i am thinking of putting some rubber matting from clark rubber or something under it to stop vibration noises and stuff.
I am just writing for your thoughts and also if there would be any legality issues that would come into play. For attaching the new false shelf i would use the pre drilled holes that are already there so that if it gets checked out that isn't an issue. Cheer |

I always thought that cutting into the parcel shelf was illegal, not drilling. I jst drilled the spacers for my 6x9's in there so hopefully there is no issues.
