my LHF power window regulator has had it so im looking at replacement parts on ebay. There seems to be some pretty big differences in pricing between genuine and copy parts, so im after some advice/know how on which one to go for.
genuine ones on ebay are going form $159 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GENUINE-FORD-FALCON-EA-EB-ED-EF-EL-LHF-POWER-WINDOW-REGULATOR-ELECTRIC-MECHANISM-/290697318436?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43aee91024 a mid range copy part with 3 months warranty is $85 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FALCON-EA-EB-EF-EL-ELECTRIC-WINDOW-MECH-LH-FRONT-/350578453449?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item51a01aabc9 and low range copy part from $65 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-FALCON-EA-EB-ED-EF-EL-FAIRMOUNT-GHIA-FRONT-ELECTRIC-WINDOW-REGULATOR-NEW-/120817566467?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c2149c303 So does anyone have any advice here? as in should i be steering clear of copy parts, or at least the cheap ones? or will i get away with the copy parts? Thanks Louie |

I have used 2 of these, 1 Right front and 1 right rear and have been very happy with them, both in November 2011. No issues, a little slower than the originals but very smooth.
