ey guys. just got meself a EL GT manual shift boot. it looks damn nice. black leather look with a different pattern. suits the rest of my black interior. the one thing that has me puzzled is that i payed $38 for it but the standard grey boot is $58. does anyone know why??

No. Its even got the Ford spare parts guys baffled when I bought mine.

Although I got mine somewhat cheaper than yours. Maybe they have gone up in price. I paid $20 for the ELGT one and $30 for a standard grey one.

Going to snap a few more up I think because there is some guy on ebay robbing people with $65 ones.

I've just rang Ford and the price is now $37, a fair bit more than when I last bought one. Nearly double.

I've ordered 3 more because they are on backorder now and none due in until mid Febuary.

I have a pic of the grey boot, its on my auto shifter. Looks better in real life, and doesn't rattle like the auto surround. The switch you see is where i ripped the guts out of the ciggie lighter and is now the home to my new power/economy switch. Sorry about the camera phone quality.

It is pretty schmick and combined with the Black Momo steering wheel its a perfect combination.

Highly recommended.

Black AU Momo gearknob is $65 from www.autotek.com.au + $10 shipping.
