hey man, nice wheel ... just wondering how you went with the cruise control? Im thinkin of doing the same thing, ditchin the standard wheel, but want to keep cc. Do you have any pics??

I am sorry, but I don't like it.

I like the ED ghia wheel with a nice leather wrapping.

That metal would be so bright and shiny during the day.

That wheel looks awesome mate, I should know as I have the same one! As far as hooking up cruise, it's so easy it's not funny and cost me nothing to do it! I've put mine on the shifter surround as the buttons are easy to access there.

The wheel is a brushed alloy finish and is not glary at all from the driver's seat (the light would have to be coming from your own head to reflect back at you) and all the fuel/boot release/antenna etc. buttons are easier to see than with the standard unit. The only thing with a woodgrain wheel is that you have to keep it clean and dry for it to stay grippy. Moisture from your hands can make it a little slippery at times.

Well here it is, i got to it and made a bracket and mounted the switches and it all works great, i didnt realise how much i missed my cruise.

Here is the bracket sitting on the boss kit, i made it so it has a bit of movement, thats why the holes are a bit big.
The bracket gets sandwitched between the boss and wheel so it dosent move once the wheel is done up tight.

I have to take it off and modify it slightly in the next few days, Im going to move the switches down a touch so you wont be able to see the tops of the switches at all.

To use the cruise i just click the left switch towards the boss for on and away for off, and to set i click the right switch towards the boss for set/accel and away for coast/res
