Will the NF Fairlane interior ie: front and rear seats, fit into a EB falcon?? I already know about the rear bolsters are bigger than the falcons but is everything else just a straight swap? ...... Ive looked on previous post and there is no definete answer on this. So any help is really appreciated.
Please only people that definetly know about this mod reply |

Hi
The front seat rails need to be modded as the floor pans are different. You will need to cut and shut one of the legs, and weld an adaptor plate on another. Not too difficult if you can weld, but really hard if you can't LOL. The rear seat base is a direct fit as are the seat backs. BenJ

View a couple of the EA-ED threads in the garage. Alot of them including BENJ and I have recently done this. There is detailed pitcures and explanations etc.
Also look in the tech doc section, there is a full writeup somewhere by BUNTER on doing this. Andrew

If you carefully cut out the rear inside floor bracket, or make a new one, you can certainly weld that to the floor so the seat sits on it, it would be easier to make a new bracket. As for whos done it, can't help ya.

Here is a s**t drawing of what is needed to do to the front brackets. The holes need to be die ground, or filed to the inside.
You may have to go quite far, i reccomend if you get to close to the edge to weld on a new washer or something.

This is looking at the inside of the seats.
The back mount on the inside of the EF seat is higher. it requires 87mm of spacing. I used 76mm long peice of steel tube with a 10mm id, and welded on some 5mm thick flat washers on either end, to give it some seating. The outside brackets lined up no problems. This will apply to your application. Hope you understand my s**t drawings, and hope this helps. Andrew
