hey just wondering if anyone has put the vanity lights underneath the sunvisors to a car that does not usually have them, im thinking about doing it but not sure how to do it, either replace the whole roof lining (not too sure if the fairlanes and falcons have the same size roof lining), or just cut holes into my existing roof???? any help on this would be great, cheers

Wouldnt the roof be a different size due to the fairlane having the LWB?

Just cut holes in the rooflining where you want them dude. My mate fitted them into is EB XR no worries.

Just make sure you cut the holes too small at first, nothing worse than cutting a hole that's too big. There's no clips or retainers behind the roof lining, the light holds itsself in. Fairlanes have a different lining to a SWB Falcon, plus the provision for the highmount LED stop lamp, but any EF/EL Fairmont lining will fit.
