cut the roof lining a little more and screw it in.
All wires are there for it, just needs a tickle.

I personally didn't cut the roof lining anymore But I aquired a fairlane loom as there was only 2 wires at the center light as it's earthed out to the roof although the wires are further bck going to the other light's.

Just make sure you get the NF Light Plug too, as this is quite different to the Fairmont one.

Cheers

Along with that white plastic mounting base.
They'll be a slight marking visible frontside in the headlining due to the mid series light, but not a big issue.

Yep, it's real handy having that mounting base. Loom is another must too. One of the easiest mods this one.

Ah ok i see so the the fairlane lights are shorter in length but wider , but i say in picture the look pretty fancy and much betr than the falcon interior lights.

Wat would b best to put down front near the front windscreen like on the au's? I found when i open my car at night the front half of the car looks very dark, help?

the longer and wider, just because the way the old light made an indent from being up the 15yrs,

The Fairlanes use a much brighter main bulb, much brighter.

By the way guys the exploder come with the same light but setup differently they don't use the plug but screw into connectors

basicaly make sure you use that plastic dummy plate oherwise when you plug it in it'll go bang.

My ef2 ghia came with footwell lights already but since i swapped out most globes with aftermarket festoon and wedge leds the area the light covers is very small but. I would like to hook up my reading lights with the door switch but bayonet style aftermarket leds work only in one direction so they dont work in my front and rear reading lights. Im curious to know what globe/festoon lights are in the nf/nl interior light?

Hey guys

I have myself a NL interior light. I just have some problem with the wiring. Now as it stands, there were 3 wires for my existing EF setup and with the NL one + the loom there are 3 wires. I connecting them all up, ground to ground and the other two for the main light as well as the reading lights.

I can get the reading lights working but when the doors open the main light will not light up

Just wondering if i have to run more wires for this main light to work ?

Thanks Daniel
