I have been looking for a factory looking steering wheel for my EB but I don't like any of the boxcar's designs. But I found a NL Fairlane Woodgrain/leather wheel on Ebay. Its just what Im looking for. so will it fit on the EB's steering shaft?

No, it won't.
The boxcars have a round splined shaft and the EF/EL/NF/NL have a square 4 sided shaft. Go for an aftermarket wheel. Plenty of choice. Cheers BenJ

you can do it...
get hold of an EF-EL steering column, remove the uni-joint and intermediate shaft sleeve from that column. Then remove the EB-ED column from your car, get the uni-joint removed from the bottom of your steering column and install the EB-ED intermediate shaft sleeve onto the EF-EL steering column. Then you just need to sort out indicator stalks to suit whatever wiring you have in your car (EF-EL or EB-ED). Be aware that the bolt holes for an EF-EL steering column to bolt to the dash won't lineup with the bolts in the EB-ED pedal box. Hope that helps. |

yeah, that'd be my personal choice. They're getting hard to find now though, and then when you do, they're always expensive...
Good luck tho. |
