i've noticed from the general consensus that factory gas seems to last longer than regassed AND serviced air cons.. not that i can prove it myself i'm still running factory gas in my cars (not the ea obviously non compliant) and they're still sufficiently functional. however i was talking to an air con guy trying to convince me that the au was passed due for a 'air con service' and it wouldn't be as cold as should be, and my bf has problems with the orriface tube and is soon to encounter dramas unless serviced if not already (06 model)....i think i know my individual car better than he does.
like i said....shop around.

For sure shop around, there are dodgy operators out there that will try and screw as much as they can outta you. Does the "service schedule" for the car's have anything about an a/c service in there? IE like every 50,000 or 100,000kms?

Cheers
