Hey guys,
I am trying to put a new heater into the EF soon, and i want to know if i can open the heater box without removing it from the car? i have had the dash out before, but i cant remember if i would have been able to open it. the reason i want to do it this way is to avoid having to re gas the air con at the same time. ($$$) cheers, Nic |

you will need to remove the dash and heater box to fit the new heater core..

So if you need to do the heater and the a/c, do the heater first?

In an earlier post you seem to say you don't want to take out the heater box because then you'll have to get a regas. Then someone said you have to take out the heater box. So it seemed to me that replacing the heater core means getting a regas. Thus if a car already needs a regas, it would seem prudent to do the heater core then get the regas, rather than get a regas, do the core, and have to get it regassed again.
