hey in my manual ed xr6 the lights all stay on all of the time. i have taken the switch out and this doesnt help. the only way i can stop it is to take the fuse out each time i park the car! any ideas? i have been told that the BEM controls this stuff so would it be that? if so where do i find it and do i just get one out of an ed or does it have to be an ed xr6? btw the car doesnt have an alarm.

Sounds to me like your park lamp relay has of all things "stuck on". Maybe the spring inside is broken keeping the contacts together.

It's located in the fuse panel above your bonnet release, and should be the top rh relay, in the bunch of 4. Try swapping it with either of the lower two, and see how you go.
