Hi all,
I have a set of EB Ghia grey headrests, that I have sprayed to match my cappa seats, using 2 different types of vinyl dye.
Both times, after a week of use, the "dye" has worn off, revealing the grey leather underneath.
Both items specifically stated that they will penetrate the material, and transform the colour. I have painted them as per the directions that are on the containers. If the dyes have penetrated the leather, should the dye be able to peel off?

Has anyone else had this problem :?

What brand of spray have you used?

You could try scuffing the headrests with sandpaper or a scourer to give the dye something to 'key' into.
