G'day, dont have the cash to get some common brand
7 inch touchscreen from autobarnz, just interested in your problems/experiences with
the ebay items with fitting, hooking up n operating these things?
Their selling them for bout $200 each

Just sick of not being able to play mp3s, n to be able to play dvds n s**t would be cool.

haven't bought one but my thoughts would be to spend another few hundred and get a branded unit.

Have a look at the vdo unit - local 12 month warranty, etc. Currently $119..

Who knows - some of these unbranded units might be good quality - but I personally wouldn't risk it unless you have $200-300 to throw away.

Yeah they're definitely not the best quality, sometimes switches are s**t contacts are dodgy heard of them just dieing etc. removable screen catches break etc.
basically not worth the hassle in my opinion, I'd rather hunt down a quality second hand unit.
Remember nifty idea watching dvds but how often are you gonna use it?
Understand definitely has uses, e.g. I could imagine any of those guys working security etc.
