I think that my petrol gauge on my cluster may be a quite wrong. when i got the car it had only about 3L of petrol in it because the needle was on the bottom end of the orange section on the gauge. i removed the needles the other day to change the dials and i forgot to check where it sits when the car is off, but i thought i got it on in the right place. So any way last night i didn't bother to get petrol because the needle was at the start of the orange section so i thought i had enough to get back into town. but when i tryed to start the car this morning, no luck. diagnostic mode said i only had 1L.
I if the attachment worked there is a picture i took of the gauge while it is off and stuck a red line where the needle was when i had no petrol. So is that where the needle should be if the tank is empty or is it wrong? and could some one please tell me how big in liters and what how many liters each white line is supposed to be. Thanks

With the cluster off, it to me seems to be in the correct position.
With 1l in the tank, I would be very disappointed if the needel moved at all. Try to lift back the needle and reset it in its position. Hold the cluster sideways and gently blow the needle up to the top, and let it fall back, if it doesn't then its fouling the template...somewhere. Are you wanting a new fuel pump?

I just may have stuck in on in the wrong spot. when i was sticking it back on i just let the needle rest in the motor thingy moved it to the top and let it drop to the bottom and i thought that was the correct position
