Ok cool thanks.
I will definitely have to go for some leds. However, i dont think i have seen a red conversion yet. Might have to go for a red look rather than the blue. something different i guess.

thanks to Rapier... (hope you don't mind, buddy)
Except he's got white dials with red here instead of red LEDs... but it'll give you an idea.

Falc "They r a really light shade of whitey blue, looks kinda sxc". (out of my missuses mouth :P). Have to agree with her tho much much betta than standard yellowish light n u get a decent amount of light in the cabin unlike u would if u used blu or green led's for the same job.

K its started finally next in line is the top of the dash which is goin black. Then under the dash which will probaly be a shade of charcoal unsure yet. Seats are getting recovered in black leather with double silver stiching blue stiched logos ive yet to decide on. Will continue the black silver & metalic blue theme throughout the car. And of course will be putting on a black & blue momo wheel very soon :) Headunits out of car (thats why the stockies in there atm) for painting of the front facias. My gf's sister is doing all the lettering & pics on the buttons for me (art freak) Hoping for a good result in the end.

Hi Andrich, as you have probably found if you checked the Doco that you need 6 LED's to do you dash. You can get them from Narva, part number 47902, you can get them from Autobarn or Repco. Get a pack of 10, it's a hell of a lot cheaper. I used these and found them a bit directional, as they are, even after I sanded the tips to disperse the light a bit more. I found these globes on EBay and they are terrific they plug into your white or black globe holders, you won't be able to use the blue ones as the globes don't come out as they do with the black of white, just grab hold of the globe and pull. The new globe (LED) just pushes in. The same guy also has T10 LED's that just plug and play as well. As all LED's are only good when plugged in the correct polarity, I have attached a pic of the Cluster and the polarity, the pic is not mine, it was sent to me by a friend. You can checkl the polaity of your LED's by using a 9volt battery and sonme wire and small clips. I just marked mine with a red marking pen to show the correct side for positive. Hope this helps. :D [/img]

btw does ne1 know how to change the color card in the climate control unit??? Ive pulled it apart and the only way i can see is to unsolder the pin connectors (im not really hugely confident in doing that myself..... Soldering skills could do with a bit of work). If no1 knows how might have to take it to jaycar n get one of them to do it.........

I'll have to grab some night shots of my dash, i bought the LED's from Motorquipe P'n'P and i frosted the first set and the brightness was s**t due to the light spreader inside the E-Series Cluster.
The next set i bought i didn't sand the tops and the brightness was fantastic. My recomendation is don't sand the tops of the led's or buy 2 sets and try it.

I'll grab some pics tonight.
