Just felt like posting a couple of pics of my interior, and the progress of it when I did it a few months back.

What the interior first looked like

Yeah man I can see it clear as day. No worries at all, I was abit sceptical about the blue for the day time, but with the white filter to disperse the light evenly, and the nice bright blue LED, it's fine.

Only problem is that my trip computer is screwed anyway, half of the last digit hardly ever shows up.. so it kinda looks like this

(assuming these are all 8's)

88:8E < The last '8' is missing the last half of it.
Annoying, but big whoop. Not worth spending $100 or so getting another one.

Haha I was talking about putting up this thread :)

Also the neons aren't mounted anywhere yet, i'm still deciding whether to use black lights, or blue neons... I'm going for more of the black light, because the interior is white and it'll probably glow nicely..

Are your LED's the same colour as used on the B series XR clusters? Awesome colour either way.

Hopefully I can do the lcd colours with the same process on the b series cluster, would look awesome too :)

The blue LED's were from a 5 pack of coloured LED's you get from Motorquipe. But the colour on the dash might be a little different, as the actual instrument cluster face has a transperant blue as the numbers and such, so if you have a normal white light behind it, it'll glow blue. But I shoved blue LED's behind it for more of a brighter blue.

Hmm nice thinking, Freak6. I was thinking of colour coding the gear stick boot..

But with the stereo surround, are you talking about the little rectangle surround that goes around the stereo? or the whole thing, with the ashtray and ciggie lighter?
