Today my passenger window in the XH shattered. I have to wait till monday for an (expensive) replacement which is pretty irritating. Earlier I discovered the rear pin holding the window glass to the regulator was stuffed and had fallen out. The window fell down at the back and it broke when I tried to reset it.

I went to Ford who told me that this unique and important small part is no longer produced (of course). I had no luck with the wreckers here. When I mentioned this to the window guy today he said I may have to get a new regulator.

A new window and new regulator because of a little plastic pin is a bit ridiculous, so does anyone know how to attach the window to the regulator safely without having the factory pin, or where I can get a factory pin?
