Yeah that looks like the kind of setup I want. I know one of those things on your rear seat must be the amp, what is the other thing? What brand sub is that?

Well the amp on the left is a Kenwood 150W for the sub and the one on the right is a Boss 4x200W for the other spk's. I was going to get a 10inch sub but hole in the parcel-shelf will only fit an 8inch without modding so I found this sub at Jaycar http://www1.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=CW2136&CATID=15&keywords=&SPECIAL=&form=CAT&ProdCodeOnly=&Keyword1=&Keyword2=&pageNumber=&priceMin=&priceMax=&SUBCATID=383 Fits in nicely and sounds sweet, and I can still pop a seat down to slide the fishing rods in. :D

So that Jaycar one produces decent bass? I don't want a crazy bassy car, just wanna hear it nice and clear.

O, and what did you do about it's ugly mug showing up on the parcel shelf? Do anything to make it look good like the stock Pioneer speakers (that I have)?

I like the sound I get out of it, it doesn't rattle the neighbours windows but I can still feel the sound. 8-)

Here's a pic of the top, had to hack a hole in the matting BUT not much you can do bout that. I went with 6inch rounds with riser tweeters which bolt straight into the stock holes.

This is my setup in my BA. I have 2 x 12inch alpine s type subbies and a pioneer amp. They pump really well and I still use the stock speakers that came with the car, as it has premium sound, so they can take a bit of pumping. The bass is absolutely awesome, I haven't got then up to their full capacity as it would just rattle the car way to much. Since I have pushed the box right up to the seats it doesn't take up to much room, the only thing is there is no access to the boot from the back seat. I still can get access to my spare tyre and fit some other s**t in their so i'm not overly worried about not being able to put long s**t in it. I am hoping to make a custom box a little later down the track and have the subs in the sides of the boot.

K, I'm back to the idea of sub on that high bit in the boot. If you had a cable long enough to it, and it was only attached by sayyy velcrow, could you move it when you wanna use that gaping whole when you fold the 60/40 down?

And so I'd need to get an amp for a sub? Soz, don't know much about car audio, or car anything in general, lol.
