Hey guys just wondering how hard is it to convert manual to power winows? I assume someone could have just looked at another car and mounted everything in the same point right?

Well i have an EB II and i was thinking about getting some of the power window mechs from U Pull it and trying that ! But i would like some feedback from someone who has done it !

As far as I know, you will need the regulators and a wiring harness for each door, there is also the need for the main harness I am told if there is no ABS in your vehicle?
Troyman and BenJ are you men for this matey. :)

actually if your car has cruise control the main loom is already there and you just need to add door looms switches and window regs..
otherwise if no cruise control?
you can change the whole body loom!
or the best way is to make up your own seperate loom usung the factory plugs and switches...

u saw my brother inlaws ed when u were here, his was a gli too. we swapped the floor loom (seats out and carpet and console) loom goes from the front footwells to the rear tail lights fuel pump etc. that take the longest. changing the looms in the doors is easy enough and fitting the power window motors is easy. took around 6-7 hours all up.

the floor loom from upi is about $39, door looms and electric regs are $44 ea and switches are $33 for console one, then u just need some fairmont door trims suit power windows.
dont get the door looms or floor loom out of fairlanes as they are different and wont plug into the falcon looms. also i would get the regs from eb onwards up to el as the early ea regs were bad.
i have a few bits here i can help u out with, ghia wood/leather trims and switches. was the other mod u are wanting to do the thermofan one? im doing my brother inlaws ed soon.
