hey guys, just wondering if the process of putting in a regulator for a power window in an ed the same as the process described in the doco for the ef/el

pretty much, have a squiz at the inside of ur door, and the doco and there shud be similarities

Dont take this as gospel, but I am 70% sure that the window regs are the same through the e-series.

it should be pretty much the same yes BUT if you go ahead and do it and do find little things a bit different .. take pics and then edit the EF doco where it changes and we'll load it up in the earlier E series tech doco's!!

The whole inner door is the same, EDs even have the holes for EF/EL door trims!

Best way to do it is punch out the centre of the rivet, its as hard as a rock and will take forever to drill out.
Once the centre has been punched out then you drill out the rest if it.
Use a decent sized punch also.
