Hey All,
Took my dash surround out the otherday to swap it for a new one (broken clips etc). In the process I dropped my clock! Now the illumination doesn't work, changed the bulb thinking shock probably broke the filament, and it still didnt work. Then i went to the wreckers and got another clock out of a wrecked futura, but that didnt work either, not even with the new bulb.. I can still see the clock is working, I can change the time etc. I didnt realise how much I used this rather small feature until I was without it ! Does anyone have any suggestions how to fix this problem? (its an EF XR6) Thanks In advance! Will |

if u pull it apart, there's a rubber/silicon pad inside which connects the contacts from the lcd panel to the pcb, sometimes these get dirty, a quick wipe across the edges with crc has fixed a couple of mine
