The plastic drum that the belt coils around has broken up for one of my back seatbelts. I cant see any way to really disassemble the thing, nor even a way to pull the unit off the chassis.
Im wondering if anyone has done this, and wether they needed to pull the back seat out or not.

you need the torx bit to get it undone or use an allen key,you will have to take the back seat out to undo the bottom of it

Its very tricky to do too!!

I was replacing my parcel shelf carpet last year, and choco, myself and someone else couldnt get the damned thing back after removing them.

We tried for ages, then ^jase^ came and took him like 5 seconds to do it.

mmm yeh
that was funny.
its all about having the knack on getting the seatbelt to release.

usually you have to wind it back in, and then pull out slowly.
