i'm only wanting to question him on the ratchet shifter, as i've got my B&M quicksilver sitting ehre next to me, and thought he might be able to shed some light on how to set it up on the BTR 91 or 93LE box.

OK I want the ratchet shifter too. What type is it and will it fit a standard auto box?

Next step is probably a nice exhaust or stage 2 stereo.

that's what were trying to find out cobba.
i don;t think it'll be hard to fit. should just require some custom made cable brackets for the transmission as B&M don't make a kit for the BTR 91 and 93LE boxes (that which came in EA2 to EL).

i dunno what type of s**t he's fitted there though. but it looks very similar to my B&M Quicksilver that's sitting here next to me...

Recomended retail price on the Quicksilver I got is $650.00... depends what model you want.

You'll find that the shifter in the picture is the "Pro Ratchet". The "Quicksilver" is slightly different in the way shifts are executed. $650 sound quite steep for a quicksilver. I have been quoted $425 for the floor mount version (including cable, excluding install).

A bracket will need to be fabricated for the cable and i'd be wanting some sort of heat sheilding for the cable as the shift linkage into the gearbox is quite close to the exhaust. Dont hold me to this but im fairly sure you can have the cable attached to the rear or front of the shifter wheather you want to have the cable running behind under the car or into the engine bay :D .
