How do I get my steering wheel off guys?
I've taken the screws and the t50 bolt out, but i pull on it and it still feels firmly bolted down. Have I missed something or is force required? |

Screw the bolt back in a few turns, apply the steering lock. Have someone gently hit the head of the bolt (not too hard as to damage the column) as you pull and twist the steering wheel. When it comes off you will see why the bolt had to go back on! try and use a Nylon mallet so the nut doesnt get damaged or use a punch that fits inside the head of the bolt.

Use a steering wheel puller. Less than $10 at your local auto store.
Easiest way and you f**k anything up. |

taking a steering-wheel off is easy...
step 1 : wriggle it back and forth violently step 2 : hit one side step 3 : hit the other side step 4 : give it a few hard pulls step 5 : swear and curse step 6 : go back to step 1 until it goes Clunk! against the bolt removing my steering-wheel was good therapeutic value, i felt so relaxed and calm afterwards

sorry to steal the thread soulfire phong =P~ You are meant to disconnect the battery, However several people I know don't bother. Once you remove the airbag assembly just unplug it.
