Hey guys, I'm wondering how to get the plastic surround behind the glovebox off so I can access a leaking vacuum hose.

I've removed 4 screws and that plastic thread that's attached to that black cable but it's still not coming out?
I can't find any other screws or anything, I did a searched and people have removed it so it's definitely detachable but there's nowhere explaining how.

What else do I need to do to get the darn thing off?

Yep, It doesn't.

I really don't know why though. The boxcars could be taken apart easily. Some sort of security or anti theft reasons maybe. I have wished a few times that I could remove that part.

It isn't that hard to pull the whole dash back.
