i was wondering if anyone would be able to supply me with detailed instructions to remove the dash to modify the speedo on an el falcon?

hi, welcome to fordmods,

up the top of the page there is a resources button click on that and theres some details on dashes in technical documents

to remove the instruments, theres a few screws holding the lot in.
remove radio surround, 1 screw on left bottom, clip on rh side
2 screws under the plastic pad hold the lower tray in the front of console
theres 2 screws at the lower of the dash surround that need to be removed
2 screws around the radio
remove the screw below the lock button, centre of dash
1 screw below the boot button/ fuel button
3 screws above the actual gauges
3 clips to the lh upper section of the dash surround

give it a pull and they should unclip
disconnect wiring to the demister, lock button and fuel flap and boot buttons
the whole shroud should come away now

4 screws hold the instruments in, remove them and theres 2 plugs under the instruments that need to be removed and the instruments can come out.
