Hey guys,
Yesterday I had a problem occur with my drivers inside door handle. I went to open it and heard a 'ping' and the handle went a bit loose. I found the culprit, a thin pin of some sort has now broken, and now the handle instead of being able to pull it slightly to unlock the door without opening the door if it is locked and you are inside (AU owners will know what I mean), it won't do it, theres just a bit of play in the handle instead. It does work to open the door though. May I ask what I need to buy to fix it, and whats involved. I assume its not too difficult? I just didn't want to take it apart until I have what I need. I did a bit of a search on here but no luck. Thanks guys Martin |

Never had the problem but i would suggest taking the handle off and having a fondle around inside, theres a rod that goes from the handle to the lock and the door release and that might have moved a little, in the Fairmonts u have a central locking button near the elec aerial, rear demist and traction cont buttons, so i dont use the handle to undo the lock.
