Hey all, long time reader first time poster.

The driver side rear window motor has given out on me. Have tried the usual suspects, switches, checked wiring, fuses, etc. So currently in the process of removing them and I have run into a snag.

I figured they were just rivots but I have never seen this type of backing on one before and have no idea how to remove it.

Is this actually a rivot or something else and how the hell do I remove it?

Thanks in advance.

i just did mine, you bash out the center with a center punch or anything small enough ( i used a small phillips head ) then you drill the rest out :)..to put the new one i i welded a 10mm nut onto the new mount and used 10mm bolt to bolt it back on the door. i used 16mm long ones

Weird, I tried that before and it doesn't seem to do anything, did it take much effort to get the center out with the punch? Mind doesn't seem to be moving at all..

Well I got them all out, seems I was just being a bit soft with them, only to find out the motors I ordered where for every other door, including two for the back passenger side..
