its a matter of pulling the whole electric aerial unit from the car and undoing the screws on the cover plate and slowly remove. you will see how its put together. its fairly easy to replace

If you just have a new insert then when the ariel is in the upwards motion just go with the flow and pull on it and slowly pull it out using the eletric motor as an aid.
To install insert the white cogged lead and turn of the radio or hit the down on the button and feed in the insert it will catch on the cogs and feed in the mast. Done this many times when i worked in the trade.

Have you done this before... were you serious...? 'cos it would have to be some of the most retarded bit of advice I've seen on this forum before! Now I'm not trying to be inflamatory, but it grinds my gears when really bad advice is 'shared' on here. If you don't know, you don't know, even if you want to have a stab in the dark, that's fine, but clarify that you don't really know or aren't too sure, there may be a better way and that the person asking the question should wait for someone who actually knows to reply. Now, I am sorry if that sounds aggressive, but it really pisses me off!
