that would be unplugging the batter for an hr or so!
there is also a procedure if u search around, playing with full lock, AC and puttin it in gear..

I had to replace the ISC a while back, as my problem sounded similar to yours - had to unplug the battery for about half an hour as this allowed the computer to reset. After that, the battery was fine.

take the cover off the fuse panel inside cabin and youll see the diagnostic port with heaps of little pins pokin out. you need to bridge the far left top and bottom pins together(i used wire with very small spade ends crimped on, but you can also do it with a screwdriver) they need to be bridged before turning the key at all, then once they are, turn the car on and let it run for about 5 mins, youll know its workin cuz the motor will just about stall itself, then return to idle at about 750rpm - give or take a bit. once finished, turn it completely off and remove the wire bridge - ur computers reset!

Bridging between pin 1(STI/top left) and pin 4 (GND/bottom left) will only perform the self test, it will not reset the KAM (computer) reseting the KAM wont fix your idle problem unless you have had the battery disconnected for a period of time and the KAM is still re learning. i would be checking to make sure that the ISC is clean, there is a doco in here about it and how to clean it.
