Hello,

I wanna replace my ECON switch with a rocket switch and cover. Im just wondering if anyone has done this and would have a pic, if not would someone please give me a guide to removing the cover around the gear thing?

why? it will spoil the interior imo...... get a shift kit and use a rocket switch for that!

yeh im going to get a shiftkit soonish, but i wanna have both i was going to put another next to the econ, but would a rocketswitch fit neat/nice into the hole that is already there?

Yeh, well im happy to play around with it, do you know how i can remove that pad in which the econ switch sits?

You mean the gear selector panel thing? Just pops out. You'll have to move the stick forward, pop out the back, then move the stick back, pop out the front. And go get the economy thing out, it should just pop out, not hard at all.

u need a switch with on off... some times u have a switch that has on off and on, and it wont work with a rocket switch, i have replaced most things in my escort to rocket switches... (dash dimmer, hazards, got the same airhorns like 'dukes of hazzard' and spotlight isolation switch etc etc)

i rekin theyre wiked, im gonna put nos on one:p
