Not the roof lining falling was a factory fitted option. It does make for a handy turban or beenie in winter but.
Only thing you can do is join the many thousands of E series owners out there who have had theirs retrimmed. You will be looking at around the $170 to $200 mark.

there is a bonding spray u can get at automotive stores specifically for carpets and roof linings, just take the headlining out, make sure u do it carefully,it can be a bit tricky, either using the original fabric or buying new fabric, bond it back to the headlining,u can use a paint roller to get a smooth result. or just get a second hand one in decent condition from the wreckers for about $50.

i paid 25 dollars for one from the wreckors, oh and you dont have to take out the windscreen to fit them like everyone says, all your do is put it through your back door, you have to be carefull not to fold it to hard and crease it.

oh! and while its out, if you dont have one already, you can install a fairmont interior lamp by unpluging the standard one and plugging the good one in.
just pocket it while your pulling the roof lining out.

I replaced my roof lining almost a year ago.Mine was sagging and looked terrible. The worst part in replacing the material is removing the orange foamy crap so that you will have a good adhesion. It ownly cost me $50 to do the whole job.Replaced with new material and bought some cans of spray adhesive from Lincraft.
I think my job was done A OK lol.Because it hasnt sagged or come away especially when its been through 2 very hot summers.(Lot of people reckon you should get it retrimmed by a Professional, because it will sagg if you do it yourself.)But i have seen prefessional work it sagg within a week...
