going to be pulling the headlining out of my AUII XR6 ute soon and was thinking it might be a good idea to put some insulation (both heat and sound) in while i'm there

can anyone recommend something that will do the job?

dynomatte i think thats how its spelled. real good s**t. tho its real expensive to. its a sound deadener. with a silver side and a sicky side would work good with heat 2.

try dynamat on ebay or fatmat

hahaha, personally I got a whole bunch of foam offcuts from clarke rubber, and glued them up, also when the roof linings out it give a nice colourful roof.

seriously though I did notice an improvement I suspect dynamat etc. would be much better but my solution cost less than 10 bucks.

I had fairly bad vibration when the subs were running prior, had to replace the roofling, was looking at various alternatives, then decided to try that out. figured worse case scenario I've blown 10 bucks and the concept failed.
