Does anybody know were i can get good quality fabric glue that can hold the liner, my f!@king liner is falling down i've tried some spray can glue but it only held for a day, it's pis@ing me off!!!!

I've only recently reglued mine.

you really need to scrape as much of the foam off as you can, and ensure the surface is going to be smooth (so the lining looks better when reattached).

I just used spray can adhesive from the warehouse, cant remember what brand it was, but it was only a few bucks for a can, so any decent spray can stuff should do as long as you prepare the surfaces properly first.

I found underneath the foam, the base still had a bit of adhesive stickiness to it, which probably helps when laying out the lining and letting the adhesive attach.

Hi there - as part of my job (RNZAF) I get to do a wee bit of upholstery (will come in handy when I redo my EL) ... so ... best thing to use is an ADOS product that is able to be sprayed - DON'T use F2 or F3 as they will bleed through ... as previously mentioned get as much foam and crap off as possible - you may want to replace the complete liner (foam and all) ... spray the glue onto the both surfaces and let it "tack off" (if you put the back of your knuckle on it you shouldn't get any transeference of glue - if you do it's not dry enough) ... then carefully "touch" the surfaces together - when you are happy with their positioning then squegee from the centre out to avoid lumps, etc.
If the glue isn't dry then you can get "bleed through" (when you smooth it down) and the pieces can also move around (once you thought it was stuck) ... oh, you can use any old spraygun to spray the glue but make sure it has a big setting (the glue will ge quite thick).

isnt the rooflining in EF's held on by clips?

Thats correct the roof lining from EA-EL are held in by clips/plastic tacks and what alot of FM members are doing is going to the wreakers and pulling the roof lining out of a wreaked EF-EL just make sure its grey not cappachino colour as it will look s**t.
Most upolsterers will charge $100+ for the roof lining job where as a roof lining from a EF-EL will cost $20-$50 depending on the wreaker.
At the end of the day wheather it be glueing the lining back on or straight roof lining replacement both are not easy to do.

thank guys i'll glueing it again and see how that goes. If all else fails i'll just find a replacement!
