hey just wondering i can get a roof lining for my B but its out of a ED Futura and its got the big light with the map lights and the rear lights. now as my B is a stock gli (wish it was a fairmont giha) i am wondering can i still wire in the light and so they come on when you open the doors or does it have to be wired elsewhere to get the power for the rear lights in the roof lining and also in the map lights overhead.

i never knew it was so hard to find a good roof lining and i thought it was just a crappadore issue.....

help would be great. thanks

Or you could go to your local motor trimmer and get them to re-trim your old headlining board ( if the board is still in-tact)

If you use a second hand Roof Lining, you will have the same issue in the near future, though you might get lucky, foam in the roof lining between the lining board and the cloth rots and the lining sags. Better to get the lining redone if you can affort too. If not there is no reason that you can't use the ED Ghia lining, score the roof wiring loom if you can when you get the roof lining.

$160 got mine re-done and will never sag again as they used a more modern and stable foam on the liner shell. They even used the same fabric(new roll in the shop)and smells like a new car again.

I went a s/h one to fix it initially but then it failed so I took the original one down to a mob in Hume(ACT) who had it done in a day. Cant get any better than that...
