hey... im trying to figure out a way to mount/secure my sub box in the boot... does anyone have any ideas/suggestions that could help... theres a pic below.. ive got it just sitting there at the moment... i dont think i can drill where it is coz the fuel tank is below. is there like strap things you can buy or something? if some of you guys have pics of your setup can ya post em coz you's might have a better setup.
thanks

maybe a big slab of velcro or something, then if you need to get to the spare it wont be a hassle removing it.

That would do the trick...
But why buy a cylinder (cannon) box and not a square one that would sit up by the rear seats easily? |

Ive heard those designs are actually not too bad. As for mounting, Velcro would probably not hold it, especially from rolling, by the looks of things, that box is pretty heavy. If thats where you want it, then just use some brackets, take out the carpet, and have a look where the spare tyre is, and where there is space to drill into, cos you can.
What I would do for that setup, is mount it right where it is, to whats below it (the trunk), the fuel tank is more to the right. And then cut the carpet where the wood for the spare tyre goes, and that way you can access the spare tyre easily without removing the sub, or undoing mounts. Stich up the sides of the carpet so it looks means, and velcro it down to the piece of wood. My 2cents anyway. Cheers

Not sure how the bass will travel but have you tried it sitting width ways at the step infront of the spare wheel, could use prickly velro on the back and base to secure it.

I use occy straps (stretchy cord thingies). but I don't have to deal with a round box.
