EF EL go a long way.
i went past the year and ended up having to reset the power coz i was upto like 2100 :/

EB 2 and ED went from 1972 to 1999. EA and EB 1 went from 1984 to 1999. Can someone get the doco back up, EF and EL is 0005

I recall that the atypical "tigitwad" keeps his calenders for 27 years as that is how long until they are 100% accurate again (for leap years etc.)
So maybe thats why those cars had such old dates, and how you can solve your date issue? just go back to the 70's, wear some flares, afro your hair and say "hey!!!" and "man!!" a real lot

It is all to do with the Y2K problem. Most computers and alike built in the early nineties were set to "cut off" at 99 as there hadn't been much investigation into what would happen to electronics when they saw 2000, hence the EAs, EBs and possibly EDs all had computers that were set to be programmed to 1999.
As we drew closer to 2000 when more investigation and protection for electronics had been done then the "boffins" decided it was OK for computers to run past the dreaded 31/12/1999 |
