So, I got myself a dash to fit my EF GLI, nice sports looking one, went to d**k Smiths and got the resistor I need to add to it, now what ??, the tech doco doesn't tell you which way to fit the thing, does it make a difference which end goes where or do you have to put it in a certin way ??.

I can solder so i'm not worried about that and the tech doco does a good job of showing where it goes, I just wasn't sure if they went in a certain way or if you could just whack'em in and solder them .

Either way is fine for resistors.

hmmmm can solder, know what resistor to get, know where to put the resistor but i dont know if its polarized. Does that mean when its in the sun it goes dark?

No polarised means it will work in one direction only.
